Description

Getting Fowler out of Anaheim would be a huge add to the blue line.
Anaheim saves a lot of money on perry being part of the trade.
Alzner would definitely fit better in ananheim.
Lehkonen would be the player anaheim could use really well, hudon another throw in and the second could be a cond. first if the habs make the conf finals this year
Also this deal would fit so well in the habs system:
in 3 years when the deal expires you have: kotkaniemi, tatar, danault, etc to resign.
You have 15mil to sign domi, mete, etc in 2 summers
This summer you still have almost 5 mil (when Schlemo comes back up) to sign Reilly and Kulak to twin 3 year 2 mil deals

would be good trade if perry waives ,ducks need to start rebuild and need cap space. but i think Habs would have to beef up that offer with juulsen or brook and take away karl

Karl would have to be part of it or else the cap doesn't work. Plus and this is a huge plus he doesn't need waivers for like the next 8 days, i think adding Ylonen instead. Ducks are loaded at D with roster players and prospects. That's the big if with Perry, but i think he sees the writing on the wall. Also Fowler has to waive his too.

Would rather have Perry's contract than Alzner's, especially when it would also be lowering the return on Fowler. Perry's contract is one year shorter and provides way more production, even if the cap hit is 4 million more.

Corey Perry isn't waiving his NMC for Montreal and once again garbage doesn't get you Cam Fowler and he doesn't want to play in Canada period.
