For Brown I would want Jensen and prospect not overpaid old guy. Is Ward upgrade on Sparks? NO! Kunitz is useless for us. I would like Boyle tho.

Oh I agree with all the above, but you know how much veteran leadership becomes a big deal. Babs wants those intangibles aka people with a ring. I debated sparks and 4th for Ryan Miller instead of ward, but babs loves his intangibles

Ward has been playing pretty well this year despite his stats. It's tough facing 40 shots per game and having the Hawks' terrible D in front of him.

Yes. And with that in mind I think Toronto would add a guy like Pietrangelo in trade deadline. Babs loves him, he plays him top pairing minutes every time he plays for him and is a leader. If not him, then a guy like Kronwall who was brought up and became the guy he has been known as by Babs and they both have great amount of respect for each other so maybe ending career with guy who brought him under the lights of success? I dont know what happens but some veteran would be in team.

That’s why I went Daley, puck moving veteran D who isn’t playing on half a knee. I also wanted to go more for the fit of playing next to Reilly or even Gardner. I think if Dubas goes for that big time defenseman it’ll be in the offseason
