other teams have the same cap as Chicago. try making a roster with dallas and the new cap hit with seabrook. you have to know no team is trading for seabrook, since you seem to be trading him so often.
leafs aren't paying a # 6 defenceman 3.8m just to satisfy your need for cap space

I have yet to see a reasonable Seabrook trade on here. No way someone is going to take him for a few mid-late round picks. And to top it off, he's got a NMC, so it's not like you can just throw him anywhere else in the league.

I once encountered an idea to bring Petry and Shaw to Chicago for Anisimov and Seabrook which I think sounds interesting.

First off, the only decent teams that have the cap space is Carolina, Rangers, Dallas that doesn't have to make a move in order to make a big one. Then you have the shitty teams like arizona, etc. Most teams would have to trade a piece or two out in order to get the cap space to spend like the hawks do next year. Also the FA market for Defenseman in general is horrible. Brent Seabrook improves Dallas's right side for basically free. Arizona as well. So no not many teams have the cap to spend on FA/Trades like the hawks do.
