The trade with AZ for a OEL would be better served in the off season. If that pick ends up as the number 1, it would be an awful deal cause you could just get Dahlin on an entry level deal and under control for 8 years as opposed to OEL that will cost you 5.5 for a year and a half and no way he only signs for 7 per. More like 10 per minimum by that time.
If it ends up being a later pick, where you would have to take Tkachuk, then it could be a good trade. Especially after the trade for patches and galchenyuk.

Not sure dealing the 2018 1st round pick that could be the #1 overall pic,. Is very prudent you're talking Rasmus Dahlin here who's probably already going to be a better D man in the future then OEL is now. Dahlin is a generational D man the next Karlsson or even better maybe even close to Lidstrom status no way i'm dealing that pick.
