Heiskanen, M is unproven , (I am not saying he will turn out as a bust. ) So ya, If MB adds a 3rd or 2nd , maybe Nill would do it as Pacioretty might help them big time in the playoffs. Dallas would look scary with an offense with Seguin, Benn, Radulov, Pacioretty and Spezza. Ofc with their dept is good too.

Heiskanen is big part of Dallas' future. He has been amazing during this season in Finland, and if he can bring those kind of performances to Dallas in future, there's no point selling him.

Nill did the right thing giving him a year in other professional league.

Pacioretty himself are also an issue, with only 2 years left of his contract - he'll become free agent at the same day that Seguin will in Dallas, and I bet Pacioretty will be UFA after the next season, if that trade would happen.

Montreal would do this because Heiskanen is a stud in the making and Patches can't get it going this year. Dallas wouldn't touch it though, Heiskanen is just too valuable.
