Is Drouin really worth an NHL Dman and a mid first rounder? Maybe he is, but I wonder how many teams want this 20 year old whiner? What happens if the Preds put him on the 3rd or dare I say, send him to MIlwaukee. Does he demand a trade?.

It's tough to say given how rare it is for a prospect of this caliber to be available. Keep in mind that going into the draft in 2013 he was in a close race with MacKinnon, Barkov, and Seth Jones for #1 overall. And the truth is, his play hasn't really detracted from that value. His point production given the ice-time he's had is actually pretty good.

I do have some sympathy for him when those other 3 players have been given every chance to succeed at the NHL level, while he's been bounced around the lineup and scratched on a regular basis. It should also be noted that he was sent to the AHL as a response by TBay to the trade request, not vice versa.
