That's an interesting Kessel idea, although I doubt Pittsburgh would take it. Kessel generates too much from the wing, and their defensive depth isn't in need of someone like Scandella. At face value, the deal isn't that bad, but once you get slightly off the surface, you realize how little sense it makes from the Pens perspective. Calgary would take that deal in a heartbeat. Reinhart has at least shown significant promise, where Bennett has just been a bust.

Biggest Issue with the Pitts trade is there is No Way Kessel would waive his NTC to play in Buffalo. No player in there right mind would ever waive a NTC to play in Buffalo. Buffalo is trash
