This is an interesting trade for sure. MP is certainly the best player in the trade. The knee jerk reaction is not enough, but he's also a rental for STL. Edmundson is a good player and an RFA...which is nice! the 2018 draft is supposed to be pretty good so the 2nd could be pretty good too. I'm not a huge fan of Barbashev. He had a nice Feb/March last year, but I've also seen enough ice hogs/wolves games to know more than just his STL stint last year. I don't think he's the prospect he used to be.
