The FLA and WPG deals are outrageously bad evaluements. Trouba is still young and his ceiling is in the top-pair, you have to give up young talent to get young talent, 31-year old Edler and mid-round pick isn't good enough.

And while yes, Bjugstad has struggled, he's still not a bad player and he has a team-friendly contract, especially if he gets a bit of his groove back.

The Tampa-deal is OK though, so you can have 2 stars instead of 1.

Edler has health issue Chevy wants a younger similar style D man for Trouba no way would Chevy do Edler for Trouba and Trouba isn't leaving an up and coming team like Winnipeg for a rebuilding team like Vancouver any ways and Trouba doesn't want to play that far west. Any team out there can offer better then Edler.

Edler has a terrible contract and Canucks fans hate him, they whine and whine about him. I highly doubt he has value especially for a 40 point TWD in Trouba. Trouba is also much younger, add in Pettersson and the Jets will talk.

Petterson and Edler for just Trouba would be way too much Petterson will be a high end player when he reaches prime
