Philly gets robbed on the Simmonds trade. Leafs give up way too much in the Green trade. Komarov should probably get a bit more than a 3rd if the Leafs were to trade him.

I can't see komarov bringing back anything higher than a third considering boyle went for a second last year and brendan smith went for a third. Eric Fehr is a salary dump and I cant see rosen having any future with the leafs so on the leafs end its essentially a 2nd and 3rd which is fair value for a rental RHD UFA thats on pace for over 40 points. As for symmonds I feel the framework of the trade is close as they are getting a young NHL ready player as well as a pick. Leafs could thrown in another prospect/pick if need be.

No way is Green at $4 million going to Toronto for scraps Rosen is meh Fehr is meh plus a 2nd and 3rd round pick is nowhere close to value for Mike Green.

You're right. There's a good chance a first rounder is heading the other way if there is significant salary retention.
