Not sure if the Wild would have much interest either. They don't have a replacement for Brodin that's anywhere near top-4 ready.

Boston is getting taken to the cleaners in this deal. Zboril has the skills to be a 1st pairing d-man (if he figures it out is a different question) and Senyshyn is nearly a 6'2 winger that has something you can teach....speed.

+ a 2nd round pick, which could always turn out a solid prospect. All that for a defensive defenseman? No thanks. We already have Carlo who is young and puts up little offense. Bruins don't need another guy like that, at least not for that price.

The offensive ability is there for Carlo, he's just still developing it for the NHL level. Even looking at his WHL numbers, he seemed to improve year over year. This year Carlo has been getting burnt defensively so I think that's where is focus is. Once he puts it all together, he could be a poor mans Chara.
