      Trouba wouldn't happen. He tried to push a trade at the beginning of last season because he was stuck down the depth chart of RHD in Winnipeg. I don't think it would make sense to bring in a top young RHD when he wants first pair minutes and what the Sabres really need is a top LHD.

      Apart from that, this roster needs a LOT more depth. And a starting goalie.

      laugh First off i doubt Winnipeg wants Evander Kane back, And secondly a pending UFA in Kane isn't remotely close to getting you Trouba.

      It's not about not needing good players. It's about allocating resources. When you've got holes all over the roster it's generally not a good idea to invest heavily in redundancy.
