I think you might have over paid on Perreault. Dumoulin is a very good top 4 dman. I don't think penguins would want to get rid of him.

Also I don't think Penguins would retain on Hagelin. The trade might work out better if it was Hagelin and a 2nd rounder for Perreault.

It would probably have to be a 1st round and maybe a decent prospect. If someone is going to take hagelin with nothing retained.

if only hagelin would have 4-5 more goals but then again pens would just keep him if he had those goals.

Why is Dumo+ going for him?

M.P. has 12g 13a 25pts sign for 3more years Winnipeg needs a top 4 LHD. I don't think they would take Cole it would be maatta or dumo I would like to keep maatta over dumo that is why it is dumo nobody is going to take hags off of us. The trade of MP for dumo is fair to make cap room pay 1m in cap and 3rd to take hags. I like hags but not for 4m so if Winnipeg would pay 50% of his salary it will be 1.5m I now think someone will give a 2nd for him @1.5m so for 1.5m Winnipeg gets a 3rd possible 2. And they have the cap space for it. That will give us 9-12mill to resign Ufa or rfa next year. Also it keeps our 1st and 2nd for this draft
