I am torn between making a Kovalchuk nursing home quip or asking seriously why you expect NJ to waive his rights. That's a pretty expensive third line.

Gudbranson is a LHD, so there's a gap you probably need to fill. But you have $10M for 3 players. Shouldn't be too hard.

Gudbranson is a RHD and Kovy is a UFA after this season sooooo.

With that being said Kane will want more money and I doubt you get Sekera and Russel to waive their NMC's.

goodbye any defensive depth that we thought we finally gained. also kane needs like 7 mill. I'd say trade only one of russel or sekera, assuming one of them will wave the nmc.
