Maxwell: hoping to get in before the "Buzzards" get hold of you! It's pretty hard to justify the above simply as outlined. I think balancing out the D, right and left and, in terms of $, has at least some merit! Going into next year, it's quite possible that the cap will increase to $80M, but as such, it's not improbable that Trouba, gets $6M and thus the right side only of the Jets D takes up 20% of the overall cap! Gardiner could slide in on the left side, from Enstrom, and the LD would be less than half of that! I'm no where near sure that the best offer at deadline would come from the Leafs, but I do believe that the Jets would look at a move like this! Big Buff, would be so much tougher to move!
