I know that Grubauer is a good goalie but you'll never EVER get Arizona first pick for him...

That's a deal I'm sure the Caps would make for Brodin, and that defense is stronger for the playoffs.

Djoos is left handed, so Bowey starts. Trotz probably prefers a rental of a backup in that spot, too, but he'll live.

I think that Grubauer trade works for neither side, although it does create cap space... doesn't anyone have a hang nail and want to go on LTIR for a month?

This draft pick from Arizona is going to be top 5, with an excellent chance of being Dahlin. I like Brodin, I'd rather base a deal around our 2019 1st and some expendable prospects (Vanecek, Siegenthaler, etc).
