I like the idea of trading Monny and adding JT but that return for Monahan is not good enough unless it's a rebuilding team. We're not. You have to get a top end player back if you're gonna trade him.

Doesn't make any sense to trade for that distant of futures when you're building a team with an open Cup window. Would be better to go after prospects who are already very close or guys on entry level deals. Maybe PLD?

Personally if it's fantasy world we let backlund walk, no need to trade monahan, if we have JT and moneyhands as 1/2 C who cares who plays wing...

Although I want Anderson on this team, rather see us move other assets if we can to get him. Him and ferland together would be a nightmare
