Why would carlson sign with a team that has really high media pressure thats what drives players away from toronto if you want him you gotta pay 10 mil + Subban set the bar at 9 mil

You're just making stuff up. Brian Burke started that rumour and blamed the media for the Leafs failings, when it was incompetence as a GM that led the team spiralling down. The media in Toronto in is very soft on it's players, and don't apply high pressure at all. Now because Leaf fans can see all the game, if a player follows social media, they might critique the team and players differently. But you're on this site. Leaf fans aren't critical of the players are they? Just take a look and all the Leafs players, especially the youngsters, they aren't wilting due to media pressure.

Point is, different players handle the press differently. Marleau has handled himself very well here. Kessel was one of the best with the press. Phaneuf did too.

With Rielly being here and the forward stars we have Carlson wouldn't be high on the totem pole for the press anyways. Maybe at the beginning but after he settled in he'd be fine. Now with that said. I don't think Carlson will sign here.
