Description
The rumor that Bura would be traded for a defender was shot down but this certainly looks interesting. A trade would leave us a bit thin on forwards tho, and the only help we could afford is Sharp. (Caps´deadline cap space is calculated to 1.9 million)

I think your proposal for Muzzin is falling well short of what it would take the 3rd would have to be a 1st and even then you would probably have to throw in Bowey or Djoors.

If the Hawks are in a hunt for playoff spot, they won't be giving away players away.

Yeah, might be that Caps would have to give them a higher pick but Burakovsky, a 1st and Djoos/Bowey is a stretch.

Muzzin isn't the next coming of Jesus for god's sake. Burakovsky, a prospect defenseman, and a 1st rounder...that's a massive overpayment. The Kings can't score and need young forwards that have room to grow and mature. Iafallo and maybe Kempe are their only decent prospects. Amadio, Brodzinski, Andreoff, Shore...they all stink. If Kopi. Toff, and Pearson are slumping...and Carter is out...that leaves no one to put up numbers (Gaborik is washed up, don't count on him...)

Given that they have Gravel, Forbort, Folin and a LOT of defensive prospects, they can afford to make a value trade. Bura and a 3rd is about right.
