Description

WPG looking for a LHD that could push Enstrom, Kulikov, and/or Morrisey out of the line up. McD fits that description. Cost is high to acquire but if NYR is looking to blow it up they'll want futures. This gives them 2x1sts in the next two drafts potentially, as well as a LHD (Chiarot) that can slide in and play now, McD's potential replacement in a year or two (Stanley), a Big, Skilled FWD who's having an excellent year in Liiga (Vesalainen) who also plays with Lias Andersson. McD would make the Jets even more dangerous then they already are for the playoffs and the Jets can afford to move the amount of assets needed to get someone like McD. Also helps they're in the west.

Thoughts from both Jets fans and NYR fans?

EDIT: The 2019 1st round draft pick is actually supposed to be the 2020 1st as it states below in the comments of the trade

It's impossible for the Jets to give up Poolman until Trouba has ink to paper on an extension. Still don't know that I'd do that though as RHD depth after poolman is quite the drop off for the Jets.

Ros isn't getting traded unless it's straight up and even then Jets likely take their chances with the current roster instead. Ros is too important to move.
