Nashville deal although mostly a lateral type move might make sense for both teams based on positions of strength and weakness within their systems. The Pittsburgh and Carolina deal makeo absolutely no sense for the Leafs who have NO interest in Cole and I'm sure would believe the ask on Faulk far too high.

If youre willing to give up that much for Faulk, then its a no, sorry. Too much for basically another Gardnier. Throw in Hanafin instead of Faulk and I think its more valuable. The NSH I get, but honeslty, no. C. Brown is a fantastic player you can slot anywhere in the line up, and can get more for him.

You're right I was probably offering a little too much but if you think Faulk is another Gardiner you haven't watched him enough. Faulks having a down year rn but your forgetting he was considered a Norris candidate last year and is a 3 time all star. This guy is legit.
And ya I have a Brown jersey I don't know if I could do that trade irl but its definitely a good one. Jarnkrok has one of the best contracts around.

What do you think a realistic return from Pittsburgh would be for Bozak? Needs to be a roster player because of cap space for Pittsburgh. The way I see it your trading for the picks and Cole is a bonus depth defenseman.

Yeah I understand, and that's the problem! Leafs are not likely to move Bozak under any circumstances that doesn't help their team now!!! (no matter the picks) Cole is a depth Dman, struggling, and offers no value to the Leafs as he wouldn't take a roster spot away from any of the 8 Dmen we currently have up!

Maybe, but I've watched him a few times, and when TOR plays CAR, it looks like he always gets the snot dangled out of him by the rookies. Imo, just average. He probably was called to the Allstar game cause they didnt have anyone else on the canes that was good lol. Regardless, Hanafin>Faulk for that deal, and I think id do it. As per Jarnkrok, I know NSH loves him, and tried their best to get him, so I think they would be relectuant to trade him. I feel like this trade is basically clone for clone lol
