Caps NEED a top 4 defenseman on the Left side predominantly. I would want Alec Martinez. I think the Kings need some forward depth, despite the fact that Carter is almost healthy. Considering they have a few young D men, and will have a critical mass with Doughty soon, they will want a D prospect too.

Cost is: Madison Bowey, and Alex Chiasson, plus a 3rd round pick.

mike green is definitely the most likely. a bunch of these guys are under contract long term

I really like Martinez’s game. That doesn’t fit under the salary cap though

Green will probably cost you either a first or a second and a mid-tier D prospect.
Ken Holland is pretty dumb though, you can probably send him Orpik and he'll think he won the trade.

Tough to predict. I think MacLellan had a hand in drafting him, but may also have had a hand in not signing him in time, and letting him leave as a teenage free agent.
