Description

Toronto is upgrading its roster. More defensive for this postseason, and contracts are easier to keep while we try to re-sign our young guys.

Domi trade is not necessary, and I would happily keep Leivo in that spot. Johnsson and Grundstrom should be competing for the 3LW spot next season anyways.

Defense is still thin, but hopefully the new defensive forwards lead to overall improvement. This is the cheaper way to upgrade this position while Liljegren develops.

First three trades make complete sense. Last three not so much. Domi is worth so much more, Anaheim isn't trading Vermette when they are competitive, and Leafs are overpaying huge. Also no way you get a third rounder for Polak.
