          For a playoff contending team I can't see these trades helping the sharks get any farther than the second round. However if they could stock pile all those picks they could get craft at the draft packaging picks to move up and really rebuild underneath what they already have.

          Why the HELL would we trade Tierney? 4th line C with top 6 upside. We have wanted 4th line depth forever and we are not trading a guy like Tierney, who can produce with good linemates and play terrific defensive Hockey.

          That aside, I can see some of the other moves working out. But Marleau will not likely waive, particularly to go to the Habs who stink something awful lately.
