His value is at a buy low right now though so that might be a bit more than we have to. I feel like pens should target more high end players and not players who are having career crises

Players have down years. Duchene had 41 points and look what he got.

So? That means Duchene should get less for being a "veteran" and only getting 41 points. Domi is a young player whose been on a very bad team for his whole career. Hard to judge.

Yes it is hard to judge it could be his rookie year was a fluke. We are talking 1 good year.

Domi's value isn't high as he has declined the past couple years despite getting top 6 minutes. Could be because AZ is horrible but they would be selling at a lower value.
Domi is playing 2nd line center right now but can play wing. AZ has other young talent at wing( Keller, Fischer, Dvorak, Perlini) and highly touted prospects Strome and Merkley at center in the minors. It could be that Domi just doesn't fit in a top 6 role for them long term and they may want to see what his value is. But probably won't move him unless it's a deal they can't say no to.

I'd say sprong and a 2nd or Sheary and a 1st. Probably won't be a yes from AZ but I wouldn't pay more him just yet as he hasn't proven to be consistent.
