Idk about Wings fans, but, as a Preds fan, I would definitely say yes to this trade. I think the Wings are more like to move Nyquist because of Tatar's contract but I may be wrong. Idk if Wings fans think if this is fair value. I'd try to ask for like a 2nd, 4th, and Ejdsell, but that's just me. Nice trade idea tho and pretty close to fair value imo.

Nope the ask from Detroit for either Nyquist or Tatar starts with either their 2018 1st round pick or Dante Fabbro, Tatar has 3 years left and Ejdsell+3rd+4th is nowhere close to Tatar's value. Can't see Poile dealing Ejdsell any ways after he agreed to sign with Nashville wouldn't be fair to him he chose Nashville because they're closer to winning a cup then Detroit is.

Nyquist has a NTC that kicked in this season. Not saying it's impossible to move him. But moving Tatar would be much easier, not to mention he also has a few years left on his deal. Either way, I think they're both gone in the long run.
