Description

Not an islanders fan (obviously :p) so not sure how the bottom 6 or the D pairs should look especially with the injuries but, wow this team needs a defenseman bad. Arizona could be an ideal partner to trade with. OEL, Hjalmarsson, or even Demers would be a solid add to this weak d core. Especially with a healthy Boychuk, the defense looks more respectable. And the isles would only make one of these move but just showing all the options.

Hjalmarsson trade is close. I would rather give up another prospect (Vande Sompel, Toews) than the 1st rounder.

I like the OEL trade. Would probably have to change the 3rd rounder to a 1st, but i still like it.

Don't know too much about Demers and i don't like giving up 1st rounders so that's a no for me.

I think you could take out the 2nd replace it with Aho and you would have a deal. ARI has had years of drafting to no success it is my feeling that they are going to be in the market for prospect poaching more than digging for draft picks.

At this point I think Ho-Sang, Aho & a 3rd or 2nd at most would be enough to get OEL.

You gotta take into account the guy only has 25 pts and is a -41 this season.
