What is the logic about trading Clarkson? Ottawa isn't given up picks on a guy on permanent LTIR, and he is doing no harm cap wise with Vegas. Don't play Glass on the fourth line. It's either junior or AHL playing lots of minuets.

Wait. Um.... There's this guy named Colin Miller who I think you should really check out. He's in his second full season, and he's in the top thirty among defensemen in points.

If Vegas isn't re-signing him, they could trade him at the deadline for pretty much any other right handed defenseman in the league. I mean, they might have to throw in an equivalent lefty to get Carlson, Doughty, or Karlsson, but Miller alone would be enough for Weber, the way Weber is playing this year. More than enough for Keith or Bouwmeester, if they wanted another lefty, too.

Okay, you're not getting Subban. But, whatever. You've already got one.
