I love Murray I do but if the pens win the cup 3 years in a row what is possible even if the pens don't make any trades and even with jarry in the net Murray will want 11million and every team will know it and his value will go down.

You aren’t even worth the time.

Who’s knows how much Murray will want in 3 years? Trading him anytime soon is soooo dumb.

You don't think if the pens win b2b2b cups he will not want to be paid the highest goalie

Point per game. Doing a hell of a lot more than sprong sheary a late 1st and a late 2nd could probably ever do.

So the solution is to trade him when his contract is up in 3 years? Jesus.

How many teams going want to trade for him then knowing he is wanting 11mill even if the pens don't win another cup he is going to get at least 6 million so right now he is at his highest value have term and won the cup 2 years in the row. The only way his value goes down if he starts to stink it up

how about p/60? Gets the 4th most ice time out of any forward and is shooting at an all time high ... let me guess you think you won the duchene trade too! Ottawa is doomed accept it, traded their future for a terrible team

His p/60 is very good for a) being on a **** team and b) averaging over a minute on the PK which very few scoring wingers do. And we got the best player in the Duchene trade, absolutely. But the asset management was trash and we "lost" that trade as soon as it was made. Not my fault we have a GM who's only good quality is amateur scouting.

That Murray trade is horrendous. And thinking he's going to get 11mil a year ever is also horrendous. Murray is a good goalie but lets not confuse him the second coming of Martin Brodeur. Murray isn't even one of the top 10 goalies in the league. And yes i'll name them. Price, Vasilevski, quick, Bobrovsky, F Anderson, Rinne, M Smith, Fleury, Rask, Gibson and you can through in Bishop as well.

Not saying Murray is bad but he isn't a generational talent in goal and has a very talented team in front of him. Unless he starts winning some Vezina award he'll be a 5-6million dollar goalie. Which is pretty much the going rate for a decent starter.
