Not remotely close for Parayko, they’re not trying to rebuild.. Parayko is gonna be a #1 Elite RDman, why you giving them two late picks and 2 B prospects? They’re eyeing Nylander or Marner + if you want him, 100p.

yeah, I don't know if St. Louis would see that as fair value for Parayko, (who I love) or that the Leafs would even consider giving up that much future for the reargaurd? (goes against your build from within premise)
Also, if building from our existing base where is Andreas Johnnson, who might at the moment be considered Leafs top prospect, certainly forward not currently with the big club? I see him playing a major role in 2018, let alone in 19! Adam Brooks and Jeremy Bracco will have to come a long way to get into the conversation in 19/20. . . . .

You are talking 19/20 and Parayko will have just 3 years left his contract. You don't that much cap left with a roster of 20. Brooks may not be an NHL player. How did you acquire Tierney? Borgman making just 1.5m, less than what he makes with bonuses.
