Idk if you’re a rangers fan but as a bruins fan i pray to lord this doesn’t happen, the trade value is honestly a steal but that kid is a perfect fit in Boston. Only young guy i move on tht roster is Heinen as a bruins fan

Montreal is in a rebuild (or should be). I don't see them trading Scherbak for short term Zucc.

disagree with both of these comments. Scherbak is usually a throw in piece in any MTL deal, I doubt he holds any value at all. Goaltending prospects are probably the only thing the Rangers don't need (even though Saros is more than a prospect)

Sooo you'd rather trade the guy that has more points and has shown the ability to play 1st line LW in Marchand goes down or gets suspended again? Love both players, but right now Heinen is the better player between the two.

Idk long term i think debrusk is going to be something special. And you can’t just look at the points, out of all ppl on here you know that. But don’t get me wrong Heinen is great and having an awesome year this year but there’s just something about debrusk that doesn’t want me to let him go

I don't want to get rid of either lol. DeBrusk is going to be a solid player. He's deceptively fast, tenacious on the forecheck and has quick release. Heinen on the flip side is a cool/calm 200ft player. Great along the boards, can work in tight spaces and can beat you in numerous ways.

Yeah they’re both looking like they could develop into some special players but to get a guy like McDonagh one of those two or Carlo is most likely a starting point so i was saying out of the 3 despite Heinen having the best season statistically would be the one id chose to get a guy like McDonagh to make a run this year. Believe me i don’t think any of them will get moved it was just my whole two cents on it

And at the cost of Heinen, I'm not going after McDonagh lol.

At this juncture, I'm looking at smaller depth type moves. The biggest thing would be if we find a #2RW
