Don't blame you on Hunwick, but I think you're overvaluing letestu. He's a replacement level player on an expiring contract at this point, and probably worth a 3rd rounder by itself at best. There's also the chiarelli tax, which removes value coming your way on any trade automatically.

You do realize at trade deadline there isn’t a certain “worth” you can pin on a player going in. It fluctuates according to the desperateness of the GM interested while the clocks ticking. If it were as easy as “3rd for Letestu”, the deal would be done by now, reported Chia rates Maroon as highly as a late first or top prospect and many calls on both him and Letestu, I believe he holds out.

Pinning worth to an asset is LITERALLY what you do at the trade deadline. In fact, you yourself did it above. A GM decides what someone is wroth and PINS a value to him. Obviously it fluctuates depending on the GM and their needs, nobody is denying that. If you guys get a "good prospect", or something higher than a 3rd for Letestu, I will eat my words. Time will tell I suppose.

I’d also sure as heck take 24 year old Aberg over Hunwick and a 5th everyday of the week
