I think this is way too much to give up. Maybe more players or the like a Czarnik/Vatrano variety, and I am keeping Zboril. I think McQuaid or K. Miller would be better to shed some cap and get rid of that redundancy. Spooner I would think has a lot of value right now and he is doing his part in making a run in the playoffs. I would like to trade him for something for sure but he has a lot of value I think. Maybe Vatrano, Miller, and a 3rd?

That might get you Pageau, I think McQuaid is real important to the room, look at Stones numbers and grit he could help us go all the way.if you could keep Bjork and give up Vatrano that might work.

Lol, way off. For starters the original posters offer is probably not enough to get Stone.

Czarnik/Vatrano have little trade value and won’t bring much more than 4th-6th. Spooner has upped his game but still his max value is late late 1st.

Your offer wouldn’t even be enough to get a Zach Smith, JG Pageau, Dzingel type.

Gofnuts is right, I’ve thrown a couple stone mocks out there and OTT fans say they’re not movin stone unless someone blows them away. I’d say the offer is a good base to build off of, probs wouldnstill need at least a 2nd probably a 1st round pick and syenthsn for stone. Which i don’t think I’d be totally against but its going to take A LOT.

Then I don't want to do the deal. That would be my offer and I wouldn't budge. I don't need stoner. I just didn't like what we were giving up.

Then I am out. No need to give away a lot for him. We are in a good place right now and we have the luxury of waiting for the right deal. We don't HAVE to make a move.

That’s your perogative. You are the GM on this one. However. The B’s have been in need of a top 6 RW all season. Pasta is the only one on the team. Not many on the market. Stone is averaging a point a game on a bad team. At 25 and an RFa at seasons end he’s not a rental. We’d have control over him provided we’d have the cap space available to sign him. With Lingren, Lauzon, Urho V in the system at LD Zboril is expendable. With Marchy, Heinen, Debrusk entrenched for years to come at LW, Bergy, Krejci at C with JFK, Donato, Frederic, Studnicka waiting Spooner who is also an RFA at seasons end and looking for a raise is expendable. I like Bjork and his potential, rather have Stione now and for the next few years and he could be a difference maker in the playoffs.

Your offer of Vatrano/Miller/3rd for him would be like them offering Nick Shore/Oduya/3rd for Pasta. We’d laugh at it. Not sure if it’s just Stone you don’t like or if you have a case of homeritis and overvalue the playes on your own team, but if that’s the kind of value you set you’d have a hard time making trades as a GM for real. Not saying this to be a dick, please don’t take it that way. Just being construcive..

It is a case of me being out of touch with hockey for this past year. I am trying to catch up and I guess Stone has flown under my radar for the past few years. The more I think about it and am hearing about Lindgren, Zboril is more expendable than at first glance. I have always liked the idea of Zboril on this team as a two way D. Granted all of this has since been blown out of the water! lol
