the price for Karlsson is way to high for the season he has had. Not the Dman he was a few years ago

I no not attacking your trade, every article I have read from any team has had a similar return. All have been way to much

By a few years ago do you mean literally less than a year ago when he was being mentioned in the same company as McDavid and Crosby, when he got a Conn Smythe nod despite not even making the finals? The same Karlsson who would be on pace to finish only 10 points back from the league leading defensive scorer, John Klingberg, despite playing on (a) one of the worst teams in the league, (b) one and a half ankles, and (c) playing through the constant drama or Melnyk + trade talks + contract talks?

We're not talking about a different player here. We're talking about the Erik Karlsson, arguably the best defenseman in the game.

umm so Jake Gardiner is 4 points behind Karlsson. Jake Gardiner is a +4, and Karlsson is a -28. Leafs can trade Gardiner for a boat load too? AWESOME so now the leafs can trade Gardiner for a legit #1 D straight up right? maybe even get a 1st round pick and a blue chip prospect included?. Lol and your comments of him playing through distractions.. that is his job he is a professional. It is like if your company is doing lay offs and you complain that your working ability has suffered because you were to worried about being laid off.
