You read my mind. I'm not overly familiar with the guy, but from what i've seen he seems to be a Cole-lite, and MTL has tons of cap space. I think we'd have to give up more than that though. Probably a 3rd at least. You're basically buying their cap space, like with Vegas, and also snagging a depth D at the same time.

Yeah I'm not too familiar with him either. I honestly just looked at some of his stats and thought he'd look like a decent bottom pairing dman. And I'd be totally fine with giving up a 3rd round pick if they take Hunwick. Benn is also signed through next year.

I like the trade but they would want more, really dont want to give up Sens 3rd though as its essentially Pens second. 2019 4th and the 2018 5th as stated?

Do you mean give up a 2018 5th and 2019 4th with Hunwick for Benn? Makes sense to me!
