murphy is better than being some cap dump. this trade is in canes favor. though i do think if henri jokiharu is ready, then murphy would be expendable. if this scenario were to be talked about, i think canes have to send a 2nd or more back to chicago.

Lol nah I think this is pretty fair but if anything we would have to include a 2nd rounder of more. Faulk is far and away the best player in this deal. Murphy and TVR are essentially washes so then it is a 2/3rd line center and a top 9 maybe top 6 winger. So pretty fair, but I'd dangle the Preds 1st rounder at the draft and include it in a deal like this and take back a 2nd or 3rd rounder

i think you are undervaluing murphy but at the end of the day i would like this trade if murphy becomes more expendable.
