Goat: What should Montreal add to the Edmonton deal because Alzner is absolute Crap?

alzner is a very good 3rd pairing D. he can play pk. he had a terrible season in mtl, on a bad team. both players need a fresh start. plus oilers save cap

          Can Alzner play right D?

Would you take Lucic and Russell for Alzner? Because we don't have room for another LHD unless they can play right.

he can play both. he prefers left though. idk about russel and lucic. thats a lot of cap coming our way, unless we add some guys to balance it out, and honestly, outside of alzner, we don't have a lot of bad contracts. maybe some guys are overpaid, like shaw, but shaw is a very good role player and a difference maker at times.

Hmm on second thought I would go Lucic and a 3rd for Alzner yeah. I don't think Lucic would waive his NMC to go to Montreal though.

I take it you just randomly picked teams to get a pick from as the Avs would have zero interest in Schlemko and can't see Anaheim wanting another D. Also don't see Florida making that trade. Edmonton need RHD not LHD. Winnipeg trade is also pretty doubtful.

yeah i randomly picked the benn and schelmko deals. as for shaw, i can see him being moved to wpg in the offseason. they just need that 1 gritty guy, and he seems like a good fit. maybe even calgary takes him
