To fix the blackhawks you need out of the Seabrook and Toews contracts or they need to regain their form. You also need better D than Jordan Oesterle or has he improved? He was like #8 or #9 on Edmontons depth chart.

Switch Jokiharju with Tuulola if you’d like

No way either contract is being moved, so the hope is that Toews will have a Kopitar-like resurgence and Seabrook just play somewhat decently in a sheltered, third-pairing role. Oesterle has shown flashes of being a good puck-moving defenseman (he’s playing on the top pair with Keith now lol), but yeah, we need a prospect or two to come in and help stabilize the defense. Best options are Jokiharju and Forsling, with Tuulola thrown in as a maybe.
