Complete team

Team: 2018-19 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 3, 2018
Published: Mar. 3, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Faulk fills the hole on right D and is better defensively than Gardiner.

Kapanen traded because we don’t have the room on RW to use him properly and he’s what Calgary needs so they might part with Dube for him.

Tavares signed until he’s 34.. not ideal but totally worth it

Too much for Mike Cam and Bieksa. They’re both 1M players.

This years version of Bieska and Cammerilli aren't worth it. Doubt if Bieska wants to leave his home in California. If Demers is any good, I can't see Arizona wants that deal. Demers seems to enjoy the stress free life on a non contender, I doubt if waives for the Leafs or many other places. Silly reason to get rid of Kapanen, there is always room for good players and he's better than some of the players on the roster.

So u would rather sign neither and just have extra cap space next year that we don’t use? Demers seems too enjoy the stress free life of a noncontender?!?! Says who? he was traded there.

Says me. He waived his NTC to go from Florida to Arizona. I didn't say not use the cap space, but sign players that are coming to the Leafs or have value. Bad signings, bad trades, past posts.

He had a 10team no trade clause that doesn’t mean much.. acquiring a much needed RHD for players that aren’t going to make the roster isn’t a horrible trade. Signing Tavares is unlikely definitely not bad. Signing one year deals with excess cap space can’t hurt you but it can certainly help.
