Come on man Price is not waiving his no trade clause to go to the Islanders no matter how good Tavares is.

So much wrong here. Trade away Price, Weber and Max and you only get 1 first round draft pick and no elite prospects AND your retaining salary?

31 years old Price with his 8 lower body injuries and 2 concussions signed 8 more years at 10.5mil is not fetching much.
One footed 33 years old Shea Weber isn't getting you much either at 9 more years close to 8mil.
Pacioretty as been called out by 2 coaches, disappears in the playoffs wont get you a top line forward.

The MONTREAL Canadiens is a terribly build team with a serious lack of skills, talent and hockey IQ thanks for the ******* idiot Marc Bergevin is. The fan base needs to deal with it and rebuild.

Fact of the matter is that no matter how bad the team is doing and how bad the fans think they are MB can’t under value his top assets. In the leagues eyes they are elite players, in prices case still considered one of the few franchise goalies in the league.

If they were truly on the trading block it would be massive hauls back, with elite young talent.

I'd like to see which team will give 1st round pick and potentiality legit top line forwards and top pairing dmen, plus roster players for a damage 31 years old goalie with 8 years left at 10.5mil.
Will Weber ever be able to play his style of hockey on one foot?

As many of the experts have said there would be a long list of teams looking to get Weber or Price if they ever became available. I don’t think they ever will but thinking that they couldn’t get you first round picks and elite prospects is absurd.

Who knows how either of them will play when they get back and healthy but they will both still be considered elite players in the league.

I don’t think either of them ever gets traded, that would mean MB admits failure and he is to stubborn for anything like that to ever happen.
