Way too much $$$$ and term for Bozak. He's really slipped this year. Carolina isn't giving up all that for really just one player they might need Perrault, plus you've given about 12m additional cap to Carolina.
Interesting trade to Montreal who need a centre. But is 30 year Little on their radar?

Carolina needs a goalie for next year(Ward is a UFA), Kulikov adds D experience. Bozak at 4.75 is still cheaper than Little who also wins FO. Jets gets a younger LW and picks for a leader and a C for Montreal.

Jets can get better value with that $4.75M on Bozak and keep their draft pick. I could argue that Roslovic or Petan would make a better third line centre in the long term. I like all of the other signing values although I fear Trouba will need more to agree to stay long term.
          Tobarosco liked this.

None of these trades are realistic (except Petan). Bozak can just b signed as a free agent (he’s unrestricted), no need to trade for rights. I think Carolina would rather let their youth develop than make this deal. Montreal wouldnt give a 2020 1st for Brian Little.

Well as soon you say "experience" for player instead of his playing ability, I know it's a bad trade. Of all the teams, the Canes have an experienced a deep good defence. There are lots of goalies available, cheaper and better than Mason. I've watched Bozak all his career. His has really fallen off. Lots of way to acquire a better centre than spending that much for Bozak. If Bozak (or Stastny) is that good, maybe the Canadians should sign him and then they get to keep Lehkoten and that first rounder

Does everyone think trouba is worth more to the team than morrissey? Jets havent had troub since 25th of jan and have managed to stay in the mix for top in the west. I really believe that in a situation of signing one and trading another i would keep josh 10/10 times.
