Frustrating year for sure

Good luck signing Rick Nash, Considering he doesn't want to play in Canada.

Swap out nash for kane. Much rather have the 26 yr old for 2 mill more. Still leaves money to pay tkachuk and ferland in the coming years.

I doubt we'd be able to get a 2nd for Stone, but i would not be against it!

i also don't want Dick Rash.

If buyout not an option how about Alzner for Brouwer?

Not a bad idea but Alzner is signed for another 4 years after this one and Brouwer is only for 2 more. Plus with the Dmen we have coming and the ones we already have that deal wouldn't help us much.

Well it would be essentially instead of buying out Brouwer and signing De Haan. Brouwer is for 2 years yes but you bought him out which makes his buyout period doubled. Plus DeHaan is signed for 5 years..... and he'd cost more than 3.875M. Easily over 4M based off other signings.

This would get you out of spending more (Boruwer buyout plus DeHaan contract 4m+ easily) and only replacing DeHaan who is more offensively minded with Alzner who is straight shutdown dman. Better suited for Hamilton.

Hasb could actually use Brouwer so it would be better situation for everyone.
