Based on his performance this year, I would think Khudobin might be looking to become a starting goalie.

That’s entirely possible. I think there are 3 or 4 better Ufa goalies though and probably only a couple spots open. Only a couple spots like Carolina Arizona and New York Islanders will have a spot open, but why wouldn’t they just sign the starter from one of the other teams losing a starter? He could make more money if he goes elsewhere, but he should get <2m here.
