Signing a lot of people to 1 year deals for the younger players contracts next year. (Matthews, Marner, and Kapanen.) Martin traded to Arizona because they'll take any bad salary. Leivo to MTL because they have no use for him in the future.

Yeah James Van Riemsdyk isn't signing no 1 year deal, And Dreger already mentioned that he's not returning to Toronto this summer.

Dude, you do reliaze if that the Nylander contract is realistic and all the UFAS are being overpayed because a lot of people want them too.

FUN FACT (THAT IS NOT THAT FUN), Tyler Seguin and Dougie Hamilton were both drafted with Maple Leafs picks. These picks (Hamilton and Seguin) were traded to the Bruins as part of he Leafs-Bruins trade that sent Phil Kessel to Toronto.

Yeah somebody posted it on the HFBoards site and it was mentioned by Dreger that JVR wont be back with Toronto.

Yeah one year deal will not occur but JVR has been rumoured to be willing to sign a 6-7 year 5.7-6 a year deal to stay but seeing the leafs are cutting his icetime it looks like the leafs are not interested.
