my only Concern is PHI is facing a defensmen log jam right now with Morin about to become Waiver exempt and he's still behind Sanheim and Meyers in their depth pool waiting for a shot .
Provorov and Gostibhere are their top guys so it doesnt leave a lot of room for Alzner when you factor in Manning and Hagg their only real ''need '' is a 2nd pair RD to upgrade Mcdonald which most fans are fine with having there.

what PHI needs is Wingers and Picks unless its a top shelf goalie Prospect ready now as they have good depth in their system as far as Defense and Goaltending that are developing .
a player like Jake Evans would appeal to them (deflection /tip in pro who is a spark plug type player who plays a hard nosed style game

I actually only included Alzner to offset the cap differences, and at least IMO Montreal is looking to dump that contract if they can. I'm sure that Philadelphia might look at other options!

Montreal, sure, why not. Philly, OTOH... I'm not seeing it. Giroux's had a pretty awesome season, after all.

i agree with Couturier ,Koenechy Patrick ,Laughton in the NHL thats a pretty solid top 4 center combo i think if you give them Shaw for his secondary faceoff ability at 55-57% will help there middle 2 prospects if they struggle with faceoffs they can rotate him accordingly plus it gives us a way to offset the Cap and PHI a prototypical PHI style player .

they need guys like Shaw if their giving up a Center more then they need D as they also have Frost , Lerberge,Rubstov and Laczynski who is in the NCAA Frozen Four Currently (as is MTL's Prospect and Norte Dame Captain Jake Evans they will likely face off for the title )

make it something like

Patches
Shaw
Mccarron
and a 1st

for
Giroux
Morin (Requires Waivers after this season and is behind Sanheim and Meyers in the PHI Depth Chart and is by all means PHI Mccarron as his development in his current system has stalled)
