Pageau is not a #2C, the sense will need to pursue a more established scorer on a short term deal to play behind Duchene or it will be a repeat of the past year

Since Brassard has been traded :
19 Games, 6 goals, 3 assists, 9 points (39 pts pace over 82 games)
Problem is that Stone has been injured for a while now (last 12 games). Hard to produce when the only offensive wingers are Hoffman, Ryan and Dzingel but you need to fill 2 lines.
What is interesting is 2015-16 when Turris was shutdown for the season. I think Pageau and Smith were re-united with Stone at the beginning of February.
Last 32 Games : 8 goals, 19 assists, 27 points, + 18 (69 pts pace over 82 games)
Of course, Pageau will never be a 65-70 pts player but he has great chemistry with Ryan and Stone. I could see him producing over 50 pts in a full season playing with those 2.
We're not talking about Pageau the long-term solution at #2C but until Brown, Batherson, Chlapik or even White are ready...
