Description

Caps need cap relief. Grubauer has better GAA and spct than recent Vezina winner, Holtby. But not many games played. Edmonton, New Jersey, and San Jose have had good luck trading for top backup goalies and using them as starters. Doesn't always work, though, so prices aren't too high. Is Phoenix interested? What would y'all offer? Bonus points for top AHL centers and AHL right handed defensemen. Thanks -- a Caps fan.

Coyotes already have two goalies in Raanta and Kuemper, and the 4 goalies in their prospect pool are all showing well too. Adding Grubauer isn't attractive to the Coyotes. Raanta will re-sign an extension.
