Was under the assumption you guys still want to run him out of town. He's been in trade talks for the last year and a half. This deal offers you his replacement in Nelson and upside in a crafty winger.

Personally, I think Brock Nelson is severely overrated. He's a 3C, that's all. I also think Galchenyuk is underrated because of all the mismanagement and bad press he received (being sent down to 4th line, etc.). How quickly people forget he was in the top-10 when finally trusted at center, until he got injured (upon his return, since he wasn't 100%, he never got trusted again.. *eye roll*)

Overall, I don't think I'd do that trade. But it wouldn't be beyond GMMB's stupidities to do it.



We don't want to run him out of town. We just know our GM does, so if that's what he's gonna do, we're offering good destinations.

Leddy is a good top four d man but I don’t think he alone gets Trochek. He is turning into a great number 2 behind Barlov, plays the defensive minutes, and has over 60 points in his last 70 games.

I think Leddy would be a good addition to that defense though, would give them a solid top four
