I'd go for buyout than trade with retaining. The cost is only half a million more, and we get to keep our 2nd round pick.

Trading him means the contract is completely off the books next year when we need to sign Seguin. I feel like buying out Spezza and signing someone like JVR to a largish contract can't both be done without risking losing Seguin.

Send the Flyers Spezza and a 2nd with no retention and you can have Neuvirth.
