If Vegas was in the win now mode and didnt have a long term plan, I’d take that trade. I’d also do that JT signing, but the issue is that Vegas shouldnt and wont give up futures.

I don't think that Vegas really needs to "rebuild" all that much honestly. in my Scenario, you lock up Karlsson long term and the top 4-5D are set long term (if you count Brannstrom. Then they have their top 6F locked up or under control for the foreseeable future. Only question is Fleury and do you re-sign him or try and get a guy like Grubauer (who they should have taken in the expansion draft)

A $10.5 -$11 / 7 year deal would be in place.
